Pricing FAQ
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. The Free plan is free forever: 2 users, 25 assets, 3 asset types, 1 site, and the full handoff workflow including Counter Mode, Kepto Coach, and the Recovery Queue. No credit card required.
What is the difference between Pro and Business?+
Pro is for teams up to 15 people with up to 500 assets across 3 sites. It adds audit logs, CSV export, and asset photos. Business is for larger or multi-site operations: unlimited users, assets, and sites, plus bulk import, reminders, and dedicated support.
Do I need any hardware?+
No. Kepto is software-only. You can print QR labels for faster scanning, but the register works with search and typing. No key cabinets, no RFID readers, no installation.
What happens if I outgrow the Free plan?+
Your data is never deleted. Upgrade to Pro (500 assets) or Business (unlimited) when you need more capacity. You can also add users at any time.
Is there a trial for paid plans?+
Eligible new workspaces get the first paid month included on Pro or Business. After that, billing continues through Stripe unless you cancel before the trial period ends.
Is Kepto GDPR-compliant?+
Kepto publishes its Privacy Policy and Subprocessors page with current processor and location details. Contact us if your organization needs a data-processing review before rollout.
Can Enterprise deployments be customized?+
Enterprise is a sales conversation for tailored onboarding, security review, rollout planning, integration scoping, and agreed support terms. Self-hosting is not a standard product offering today.
Can I import my existing spreadsheet?+
Yes. The Business plan includes a bulk import wizard for CSV files. On Free and Pro, assets can be added manually. Contact support if you want to discuss migration help.
